Mission & Vision

VISION

To teach, reach, and take the gospel to the world.

Our mission at The Life Center is to teach, reach, and take the gospel to the world.

Core Values

  • FAMILY: Family is the core foundation of society and of the church and spending quality time involves, praying, learning, and worshipping together.

  • WORSHIP: Worship should be honoring to God and uplifting to the congregation. Our worship style is focused on reaching the lost as well as the spiritual growth of our attendees.

  • REACHING: We are mandated to reach our community, but we are not limited by the community, nor by color, nor by creed, nor by culture. Our goal is to love and reach everyone by sharing the good news of Christ.

  • TEACHING: The Word of God is our authority, and this is what we teach and live by. Our hope is to train Christians by edifying the church.

  • SERVICE: We believe that we are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to assimilate people to do the work of Christ. Our voluntary work is a labor of love.

Beliefs

  • Trinity: We believe there is but one living and true God; And in the unity of this Godhead, there are three Persons of one substance of eternal being, equal in holiness, justice, wisdom, power, and dignity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

  • Christ: We believe that the Son, who is the Word of the Father, the very and eternal God, of one substance with the Father, took man’s nature in the womb of the blessed virgin; so that two whole and perfect natures, very God and perfect man, who actually suffered, was crucified, dead, and buried, to reconcile the Father to us, and to make atonement, not only for our actual guilt but also for our original sin (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6).

  • Resurrection: We believe that Christ did truly rise from the dead, and took again His body, and ascended into Heaven and there sits until He shall return to judge all men at the last day (Luke 24:1-7, 1 Corinthians 15:12-19).

  • Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son, is of one substance, majesty and glory with the Father and the Son, very and eternal God (John 14:16, 17).

  • Scriptures: We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, known as the Bible. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, the full and complete revelation of the plan and history of redemption (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

  • Future of Believers and Unbelievers: Heaven and hell are real places of eternal in their existence. We believe that eternal life with God in heaven is a portion of the reward of the righteous believers; and that everlasting banishment from the presence of the Lord and hell are the wages of the persistently wicked (Revelation 21:7, 8).

  • The Blood of Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the forgiveness of all sins. This has allowed the believer to be free from the penalty of sin, which results in death (Romans 3:25).

  • Justification by Faith: We believe, teach, and firmly maintain the scriptural doctrine of justification by faith alone (Romans 5:1).

  • Cleansing: We believe that Jesus Christ shed His Blood for the complete cleansing of the justified believer from all indwelling sin and from its pollution, subsequent to regeneration (1 John 1:7-9).

  • Sanctification: Sanctification delivers from the power and dominion of sin. It is followed by lifelong growth in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). The Word of God and the Holy Spirit enable us to live godly lives.

  • Baptism of the Holy Spirit: The promise of the Father was given at Pentecost to empower and to mobilize the church to preach the Gospel throughout the world for redemption. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:1-4, 17).

  • Healing: We believe in divine healing as was illustrated by the Life of Christ and assigned to them that believe (Isaiah 53:4-5, Mark 9:23; James 5:14-16).

  • Second Coming: We believe the Lord will return to the earth for His faithful people to establish His Kingdom on the earth (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17), and we love waiting for His appearance (2 Timothy 4:8).

  • Great Commission: We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission to preach and teach and make disciples (Mark 16:15-20).
