How it all started...
During a time when a movement of people from a variety of backgrounds were coming together in home prayer meetings and tent revivals began seeking a closer and more powerful walk with God. As they met, studied the Scriptures, and prayed, they began to experience many wonders. Our church began in 1930 under a tent, with a ground covered in sawdust. It was in an agricultural community that knew they needed Jesus to cultivate their crops and give hope to our community. After years of hunger and persistency, the church saw many many infrastructural advances and man souls saved. In 2018, The life Center moved from a small location in town and constructed a 25,000 square feet facility on 29 acres of property. God is still moving as we have become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. There is much more to come.
Expanding the vision...
When our pastor accepted the vision, The Life Center has focused on becoming a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural church consisting of many people from various backgrounds to proclaim Christ to a battered and hopeless world.
Where we are headed...
We are headed in the direction that Jesus Christ is leading us. As followers of Christ, we are challenged to add 25% more souls to our church and the kingdom of God this year. More people will be saved, and more will be baptized. There is no judgment on where a person came from or what they have been through. The Life Center will meet people where they are and introduce them to a Savior.
